About Me

I'm currently an art major at Sac State, but first and foremost I'm a mother to my amazingly wonderful daughter. I'm a happy person, and passionate about the things I love. I look for the good in each day. I'm easy-going, but at the same time I am very strong-willed-- something I consider to be a good thing. I know my mind and I know what I'm about. Family is very important to me, so are good friends (hope my friends all know that). What else...? I'll think of something later...

Books:

The Historian, I have a weakness for vampire stories and this is a great one. Anne Rice's Vampire Chronicles, I just can't help loving these books.Also enjoy any books by Thich Nhat Hanh. (Theres some major contranst for you).Love works by the poets Izumi Shikibu, Rumi, and Hafiz... losts more, just can't think of them presently.Read alot of metaphysical type stuff, also books on eastern philosophies.

Myspace deemed that last drawing to be inappropriate...

So I had added this drawing to my photos section and set it as my default. Within an hour I got a message stating it violated Myspace terms of use, as it fell into the "nude/sexually explicit" categor...

I used a combination of water color, soft pastel, and charcoal on this. Rather liked the process, so I'm planning to try a few more....
