Brimming with youthful energy, self-confidence and conscious lyrics, PRINCESS MENEN was raised Rastafarian in Brooklyn, NY. She began writing songs when she was 13 years old, and was performing live by the age of 14. Her first hit singles, "Notting But Love" (Whop Dem Records) - a duet with Chrisinti- and "Listen to Me Sing," produced by Sidney Mills (Living Room Studios), earned her an invitation to perform before 10,000 people at the NY Reggae Carifest 2001, and over 5,000 for Reggae Splash, NYC 2002. She created a lasting impression to fans at the 2003 Irie Jamboree concert in NYC and have performed at several concerts and festivals in the USA. For the past six years she has moved the crowd in Negril, Jamaica for the annual Spring Break event, "New York-Miami Linkup," sharing the stage with with such reggae hot shots as Elephant Man, Merciless and Capleton, Sizzla, Beenie Man, I-Wayne among many others. Soldier label is a crowd pleaser and is hitbound. Princess Menen is currently working on an album which promises "nuff niceness and conscious lyrics. She is becoming the most sought-after female culture reggae artists in the business.
