YORICK:

I'm a jester in the modern heavy metal music world, with great passion for the ancient world. Got a dregree in Medieval Languages and Literatures in Italy and and M.A. in English in the US, with special focus on Old and Middle English.
My favorite discipline is Germanic Philology, although the mixture of music and verse is what mostly describes my soul.

Is merier þan þe nightingale
Þat y schel singe

(From: Sir Beues of Hamtoun, 1-3 )
WAYLANDER:

I'm a Wanderer and a Teacher. After a degree in Medieval History (Byzantine Area) I spent some time in History Researching. And now my journey has led me here…
I love History because I use to ask to myself "Why?" and then look for the answers…

Every man who undertakes the journey to the Our Lord's Sepulcher needs three sacks: a sack of patience, a sack of silver, and a sack of faith.

(Symon Semeonis, an Irish medieval pilgrim)
