Toma Soare a.k.a. Tomasan was born in 1984 in Heilbronn, Germany. Son of a Jazz player and painter, his passion for arts started early back as a little boy, when he started playing flutes, bongos and the guitar. Passing through all genres of music thanks to his father's huge vinyl collection, Tomasan's drive to electronic music went pretty fast, starting in '92-'93 when he received a big box with Trance, Techno, Rave, Acid and Happy Hardcore CDs as a present from his bigger sister. Year 1998 brought him back to his origins - Romania. His passion to become a DJ was somewhere hidden to jump out: His first gig was in February 2006 at a well-known party called Tralala. He got very fast attention from local DJs like Gojira, Seb, Cypher, Phoneme or Hazee who helped him buy his first vinyls. His first trips to Budapest and Barcelona then threw him into the addict atmosphere of vinyl shops, where he bought his first new releases. Considering it a positive start, Tomasan had over 20 gigs in 2006, including gigs outside Bucharest, like at X-Session in Deva or TM06Base afterparty in Timisoara. He was invited by Roli Breaker from anonimTM organization to play at their local radio broadcast station at VanGraph Cafe - RadioAnonimTM, twice. He also organized several parties himself, along with Djahz (Broken Beatz Consortium), Sinkronize or Bully (Tralala). 2007 started like a big kick-off when he found out he was going to play after the Plump Djs in April at the Brasov Castle. In May he played at 48H fest in Timisoara and in July at Summer Break Festival in Deva. In October he "warmed" Alex Paterson (The Orb) and he can't wait for the General Levy gig in November and to warm Kano with an old school drumandbass set at The Roman Arenas in Bucharest. Gigs are getting bigger and better for him, he is the freshest Tralala Events member, along with Bully and in collaboration with Romano - G Force Sound & UP2 Events. In December he plays with the Kojokstan Troopers in Timisoara at the Jazz Club and the same month, as a huge year closing, Tralala Events, Up2 Events and Tony officially launch the dubstep.ro site.Tune!
