About Me
I started mixing in public in 2000, when a close friend, Clau (Roli Breaker) asked me to "entertain" people at some party. Since then, I participated at events both in the country and abroad: 48 Hours Festival-Timisoara, TMBase Festival-Timisoara, Rock la Mures Festival-Periam Port, Summerbreak-Deva, Graz School of Architecture Festival-Graz (Austria), Garana Jazz Festival.
I am a member of the anonimTM Organization (Timisoara) and for 2 years, together with DJ Dubase from Guerrilla Outernational we have formed a unique duo in Romania, creating soundtracks for mute films at events such as Transylvania Film Festival (TIFF)- Cluj_Romania and Music on Film - Film on Music (MOFFOM)_Prague, Czech Republic.
Together with Brigada Artistica Urbana (BAU)-Timisoara I put the basis of a musical creation studio. We now collaborate on a lot of other projects such as Mindchange, a nu-jazz project formed of artists from Timisoara, being the first Romanian jazz band to perform with a DJ on stage also making me the first DJ that performed at the Garana Jazz International Festival.
I started playing trip-hop, making a jump afterwards to drum and bass and later breakbeat. In time I added funk and hip-hop to my DJ sets which I now mix with broken beat. My favourite music genres (which I listen to and mix) include: Jazz, Acid Jazz, Soul Jazz, NuJazz, Broken Beat, Hip Hop, Downtempo, Funk.
Since 2001, I have been travelling & mixing in towns like: Budapest, Milan, Prague, Graz, Berlin and most of the Romanian big towns.
From 2005 I have been digging and promoting Balkan music from Serbia and Romania, being involved in many projects (in Romania and abroad) focused on this kind of sounds and by doing this I collaborated with artists from: Austria (Dunkelbunt), Italy (Ramsazizz).
I played music with: Dj Cam, Phantom Beats, Florian Keller, Big Bud, Rennie Pilgrem, Don E, Keyser&Shuriken, Dunkelbunt, Jon H (Fort Knox Five), Nickodemus, Ursula 1000,JFB, Brains, Cayetano, Dj Nova, Paul Murphy, Rqm, The tape, Al Haca, Jachoozi, Plump Dj's, Wax Taylor.
