red team to consist of: a secretary-by-day egyptologist and a fledgling broker
blue team to consist of: a classified weapon making machinist from sackville and a rebel mortgage agent
acid on the tongue and 909 in hand, four players set out to change the way the game is played...
****chapter two****
and so began the era of fps 2.0- an age filled with hope, avarice, and electronic drums.
there was much work to be done, much more than had already been done. players two and three were left with only one clear option:
break up the band and start over.
they began many months before anyone knew it was happening. they called it mode7 and whispered it over cigarettes in sketchy alleys after shows. then player three found the weapon that would prove essential for the plan’s success: the roland 909.
they finished the final 1.0 missions and retreated to their headquarters to begin rebuilding the red and blue teams from the ground up. soon two new players, each experts in their own right, had signed on for the coming battles and training began in earnest to master new weapons and level up new skills.
and so the halcyon analog days came to an end, with the team newly formed and the players ready for the missions ahead.
