Bill Ely Band

Call it a milestone if you like. Bill Ely Band turns Ten Years Old in Oct. 2007. That's when I began writing songs for what would become BEB a year and half later, when I met Brad Tally and his cousin Chad Smith. It was the two of them that suggested the name Bill Ely Band, The reasoning was that whatever happened or who came through the band, it would always be BEB. Ten Years later...A lot of "whatevers' happened and al lot of "whos" came through the band. A Decade and STILL BEB ! ! ! Really, some very good music, but don't take my word for it. Give them a listen and hear for yourself ! ! ! Another cd I will post some songs from is "Retrospec" The second cd from BEB. It is kinda things scraped off the cutting room floor, so to speak. Demos that didn't make it on "Never Let Go" or our latest release "The Go Between", or songs I thought just were not good enough. After enough folks told me I should release those works, I caved, and there you have "Retrospec" Not to be trippin in the past, BEB of today surpases even dreams...How lucky I am. The life and family I've been blessed with, (Katy and children Mike, Emily and Allison), is way more wonderful than you could expect in one lifetime. Slather a large helping of some of the best music I've ever heard, going on in me and around me, things get a bit surreal. September of 2007 finds me standing before you a humble man.
