"Welcome to the re-birth of Ms. Robbie Brown"

About Me

Ms. Robbie Brown Singer/songwriter/entertainerRobbie Brown’s musical journey began immediately after she was born. Growing up as a child in a rock & roll environment, Robbie is no stranger to the music industry. It wasn’t unusual for her and her brothers to go shoot some pool over front man of the Temptations Dennis Edward’s house, or go hang out over Uncle Charles Wright of the Watt’s 103 Street Rhythm band’s house, or even get a knock on the door from Willie Hutch. Robbie’s first photo shoot was at the age of 4 months by one of The Fifth Dimension’s group members Mr. Lamont McLemore. At the age of two weeks old, she spent her very first time in a recording studio with her mother singing her first hit record, “You turn my bitter into sweet”. Robbie slept through the whole recording session only to wake up once the music stopped. At the age of 12, Robbie was hired to sing background vocals on her mother’s recordings stating that her mother taught her once your paid to sing, you are officially a pro! At this very young age, she held a 5 octave range belting out melodies and riffs compared closely to the likes of Minnie Riperton, Chaka Khan & Aretha Franklin. Robbie credits these incredible talents as having a major influence on her musically being a close second to her mother internationally renown singer, songwriter, entertainer Ms. Mary Love. From that point Robbie began singing and working with many different songwriters & producers, one being her close friend the Grammy award winning blues artist Keb’ Mo & hip hop producer DJ Battlecat whom she is currently collaborating with. Establishing herself as a recording artist, Robbie has hits that were released in 5 different countries giving her international acclaim. In 1991, her song “Gotta go by what you tell me” hit the top of London’s Indies chart for three months and is still being played all over the world today. Robbie’s voice has also graced the movie screen and can be heard on two movie soundtracks, “Out in fifty” starring Mickey Rourke & Christina Applegate & “Spent 2000” starring Jason London.Robbie has traveled extensively in many parts of the world as a live performer, working with many great musicians and entertainers. Her talent has aloud her to perform locally & internationally for many different cultures of people in night clubs, concert stages, stadiums, cruise ships, hotel resorts and many more venues. Robbie has worked and opened for many musical acts major & Indies like jazz vibe master Roy Ayers & Ubiquity, R&B crooner Howard Hewett, London based R&B group Loose Ends, & neo soul artist N’Dambi just to name a few. Robbie is also a prolific songwriter with a catalog of her own lyrics that speak passionately to the soul about all aspects of life.Robbie is currently collaborating with up & coming artist as well as established artist and producers in Europe and the United States. This powerhouse singer and showstopper lives on stage and will continue as new horizons approach with even more creativity, focus, energy & spirit. The world & music industry will be enriched by the gift she presents with her pure heart & soul in every note and gesture. Introducing to some & presenting to others Ms. Robbie Brown.
