About Me
The Society of Elves (TSOE) is an international (or perhaps interdimensional, for all we know) philanthropic and ecologically oriented league of creative and motivated community builders who share a love of high fantasty, elements of "elven culture(s)", and S.E.E.D.S. - sustainable economic and ecological design standards. Is this a real society that engages in real activities?
Yes.
Is it a sort of fantasy role game like D&D or Batwinged Bimbos From Hell? Um, sort of, maybe a little. Argent Wolf Productions in conjunction with the WyrdPack Projects Group is designing a live action reality based game called 'The Elven Way'. We've completed the alpha development stages and are now in early game testing.
The ultimate implications of this project are tremendous, the possibilities electrify the imagination. This is a game in which you and your team do your good works in secret, hidden from the eyes of the rest of the world, but rankings, prizes, bragging rights, and a lot more are kept "in house", within our on-line elven community. We're also working with the WyrdPack Production Unit to create a green-oriented reality-based TV show pilot about the game. The pilot is *not* the purpose of the society; it's merely one of many exciting aspects of life lived as an elf.
If you've got permaculture, gardening, green building, or any other related skill, or are handy in any way from sewing to electronics and have that elven touch, we want to hear from you. Send us a message or friend invitation via this myspace site. Once you're a Friend of The Society Of Elves, we'll invite you to our private myspace TSOE group. When you accept that invitation, you'll be a fully registered member of The Society Of Elves!
If you're a resident of Second Life, we have a chapter of TSOE in SL, be sure to sign up. You won't want to miss what we're doing there!
Doesn't matter where you are, how old, what gender, or anything else - all you need is genuine interest in making the world a better place, and having fun while you do it. If you're housebound or otherwise restricted in your activities it doesn't matter, there's good deeds of many kinds to be done, and a world waiting to be healed. No one said we had to be grim about it!
