Damon May

You, my dear rock fan, might remember Damon May from his stint as the front man and chief songwriter for, the much-beloved, The Vanilla Scene. But, Damon had previously left his vocal prints all over his hometown of Detroit and the punk/ska Mecca that is Chicago, due to his success in legendary bands, such as, The Eclectics (jump up/victory records) and the Exceptions (jump up). With those achievements under his belt, it was only a matter of time before Damon moved on to front his own band, sharing the stage with the likes of; **********************- Fall Out Boy,- The Plain White T's,- The Silent Drive,- Lost City Angels,and- Anberlin.********* On stage, Damon plays with the skill and precision of a veteran (which he most certainly is) combined with the flair and intensity of a rookie just out of the gate. While sharing the stage with traditional rock combos , once again, built a new reputation on rocking more asses with less.
