Born in Atlanta, GA, Singing career began in a Southern Baptist Church, In Honor Band at Peachcrest Elementary School, Attended Towers High School, Joined chorus and was accepted in the Show Choir, Learned to play piano and guitar in high school, Joined first band at 15 "Skin Deep", Placed 2nd @ the Yamaha Music Showcase in Los Angeles, Opened up for Mothers Finest, Extreme, Alice in Chains, Van Halen and Vince Neil, Signed to Rowdy Records in 1996 as a solo artist, Wrote, performed and produced a song "Bright Lights" on the "Fled" movie soundtrack, Co-wrote a song for a Japanese artist " Something bout the Kiss" with Dallas Austin. Currently T. Smith has Topped the Billboard Hot 100 Singles Sales Chart with His New Single "Pretender" Thanks to all of the fans who bought "Pretender".
