A former professional musician turned entertainment and business lawyer. As "Of Counsel" to Cowan, DeBaets, Abrahams & Sheppard, LLP, my practice consists of entertainment, arts, intellectual property and business law. I provide transactional and dispute resolution counsel to entrepreneurs, Internet media companies, film production companies, record labels, writers, producers, managers, actors, artists, photographers, musicians and songwriters. I form and advise business entities, draft and interpret contracts, negotiate deals, and assist clients with the protection of their intellectual property interests. Prior to becoming an attorney, I was a professional musician, recording and touring with several artists, including Gary U.S. Bonds.
