Sounds Like: Sounds like... ERRRM... Sounds like i decided to cool off a little. I didn't deliberate on any particular style or genre. Nearly every aspect of Place Of Woe was actualy derived from a nightmare, or nightmares, of which the general sound and feel are remembered through and reflected accurately by the rythme and lead guitars entirely. As such it's very difficult for me to catagorise in terms of comparison directly to other artists material. Like a dream it's just out of my reach. Suffice to say it's generaly- and perhaps you'd agree- odd. As for End Of An Odyssey, well, again i dont feel that it's really derivative of any particular genre. I just wanted simply to tell a tale of a spiritual search having reached a conclusive juncture. It has been left without words so as not to restrict the view of anyone who listens to it, ie the listener can then choose what kind of tale to them the track sounds like it must be telling and what kind of conclusion is reached. In effect the track is easier to familiarise with. Of course there is one true conclusion that is real and of my own but that should not govern anybody elses perception directly. I'll soon have more noise on this page with which answering this question will be a little easier but for now, due to the age old exscuses: "band politics" and/or "recording difficulties" and various other elements constantly tempting my failing patience, a shortish time will pass with only these two tracks to acompany it repeatedly. In the mean time, what do you think?
