The one & only SwiftDizzy- formerly of the late 80's HipHop group The Alliance- ( King of Chill, K-Swift, Dj Skill) is also known as K-Swift ( the original K-Swift, people). The group was part of the now defunct First Priority Music label which included labelmates Audio 2, Positive K, Kings of Swing(BumRush Records), and the infamous MC Lyte. The Alliance, mostly through the production of King of Chill and some co-production via Swift, helped to shape the first sounds of MC Lyte, as well as other artist's in the game, and are considered to be underground old school hiphop notables. They also have the claim of working with ( who are now known) as some of the Hottest DJ's (producers) in HipHop... DJ Dice ( Das Efx) DJ Scratch ( EPMD) DJ Daddy Rich (3rd Bass) DJ Master Mike ( the 1st original Alliance DJ) and last but not least DJ Skill ( also exquisite rapper who rhymed on the single "Bustin' Loose"). After departing from the group in '90- '91, K-Swift released an independant venture titled "Chicken Skratch" under his own moniker Eye Jammie Music. The single was later picked up and re-released through Profile Records at a time when Hiphop on the East Coast was suffering- hmmm sounds familiar? Swift managed and produced a few groups at the time and then became an actor, gaining a starring role in the Indie- Canadian released film Channel Zer0. Though he received some critical acclaim, even a Toronto Film Festival Nomination in '96- Swift still struggled to maintain the life of an artist/musician/ entreprenuer.In 2002 Swift led the playas known as The BHZ Zone Radio Show, broadcasting worldwide via Sirius Satellite & Webcast for 2 yrs. He is currently working on a semi-bio book titled 'The Undefinition of Soul' and branching into making short films, as well as being co-founder of the Brooklyn-based 1stMind Entertainment company. Swift's on a serious grind, and continues to play lowkey while establishing momentum. "It hasn't been an easy task but F*** it, If I don't attempt no one will give me s*** free!"
