Dany L

Dany L is a singer, vocalist, author and composer who was born in Italy and spent her early years growing up in England.She started singing when she was a teenager and has performed in many locations in Italy in various funky, blues and jazz bands.In 1999 Dany L performed as a soloist in a national tour of Germany.In 2000 she was the guest of the Italian band, Ridillo, and was backing-vocalist to the international singer Aranza at the Latin American International Festival in Milan. In 2002 she performed as backing-vocalist for the Praise Cats featuring Andrea Love (‘Shined on Me’) at the ‘Festivalbar’ in Cagliari.As a vocalist she has worked in a variety of nightclub venues across Northern Italy and Europe including: Hollywood in Bardolino, Queen, Berfis Club and Alterego in Verona, Fura in Desenzano, Villa Bonin inVicenza, Corte degli Angeli in Cerea, Matys in Bologna ,Adrenaline in Reggio Emilia, Canniccia Forte dei Marmi.She has collaborated as a session singer for various record companies such as Molto SRL; with this label she has recorded the songs ‘It’s More than I Had’ and ‘This is not a Love Song’ under the artist’s name “Dania Mode" with dj Giusy Consoli.In addition she has written and recorded with DJ Daniele Baldelli the songs ‘My Funky Side’ and ‘Walking Down’ performances which have received positive reviews and acclaim from the Italian and international music press.Dany L is currently working with the new independent label ‘Prismatik’ Records. As well as being partner of the label, organising the public relations and marketing for the label, she has been busy working on her own compositions and releases her new song, ‘Believe’ in July 2007.
