About Me

The outer regions started trading in 2006.The cafe is run by Lowenna, Chief, Kayhan and Tenzin and a whole heap of beautiful people who help us out and muck in when it gets busy. We set out to achieve the ultimate chillout spot for young families and people who are looking for a place to relax away from the masses. We combine organic, fair trade food with a selection of laid back global tunes from our solar powered speakers (made from recycled materials, as is much of our cafe). Our friends who help run the cafe come from the four corners of the world and give us some nice specialities from Tibet, North India, the Medditerrenian and the Middle East.We also sell organic homemade cakes, healthy snacks and drinks for kids.All of our food is vegetarian,although most of our main courses are suitable for vegans including traditional chai made with soya along with the milk chai.Our chai is made from a traditional reciepe in a 10 litre chai pot, allowing the flavours to gel as its heated through out the day.So if you see us at a festival this summer, pop in for a tea and a bit of a chill out.We are also available for private events,please email for info. check out tenzins mo mo (tibetan dumpling) workshop below
