Hello to my international guests around the world! I am "cellolitis", a "one-man-cello-act", exploring the entities of music in communication with myself as a multi-cellist and songwriter. A technical tool gives me the possibility to record as much layers or loops as I want on top of each other, while singing and telling stories about the world :) Everything happens in realtime on stage! It’s live producing! So that one gets the feeling that I’m playing with my own band (including percussions, bass, guitars etc.) by myself. Please listen to my downloads. Ein-Mann-Cello-Projekt:

Ich arbeite unter dem Namen Cellolitis als „Ein-Mann-Cello-Projekt“! Mithilfe von Technik ist es mir möglich mich selbst – quasi – als eigene Band- zu begleiten. Ich spiele verschiedenste Stimmen übereinander ein und singe dazu. Dabei verfremde ich auch den gewohnten Cellosound durch dezent eingesetzte Effekte. Meine wichtigsten Projekte sind mein Soloprogramm und die Theater- und Filmmusik. Desweiteren begleitete ich mit dem Cello und meiner Musik verschiedenste Aktionen wie z.B.: Lesungen, Performance, Galerieeröffnungen und Empfänge. Ich feature verschiedenste Künstler wie z.B.: Schauspieler, Sänger & Sängerinnen, Bands, Artisten, Akrobaten, Travestiekünstler, Bauch-, Ausdrucks- und Stepptänzer, Impro- und Theatersportler, Feuerspucker, DJs und VJs Auf den Flügeln des Klangs/ Nikolaus Herdieckerhoff alias Cellolitis:... „Energiegeladen sprudelten Klangfarben, Gefühle wurden ausdrucksstark vertont. Der Cellist moderierte, sang und sprach über seine gesellschaftspolitisch bedingte Wut, die bei ihm offensichtlich kreativ verarbeitet wurde.
