About Me

The Coven is a project taken underway by Adam Grimes, Danny Lloyd & John Seddon. Three bizarre creatures situated in dingy St Helens town. Inspired by a whole manor of influences & a wide range of musical taste & knowledge, the three came together to make their own diffinitive creation of macabre art & gloomy atmospherics.

Influences: A wide variety of acts ranging from the 1980's era of gothic rock with such projects as the Sisters of Mercy, Bauhaus, Fields of the Nephilim & Christian Death to the modern day shadow ridden tales of London After Midnight, Nine Inch Nails & Type O Negative.

However, our most prominant influences are stated thusly:-

- London After Midnight.
- The Sisters of Mercy.
- Rosetta Stone.
- Bauhaus.
- Fields of the Nephilim.
- Christian Death.
- Type O Negative.
Sounds Like: A deathly concoction of rain drops hitting hard broken tombstones in the middle of the night whilst villagers wander the lanes and avenues telling gloomy stories of times past.
