The Southeast proves itself time and again to be a region with a solid reputation for producing great bands. Atlanta-based, alternative rock band, Bellarosa is one of those unique bands that is creating buzz throughout the Indie community. In addition to their high energy live performances, Bellarosa is quickly becoming known for its unique sound that is converting listeners into fans at an impressive rate. Music and Entertainment fans are saying “Bellarosa is one act you don’t want to miss!â€
The four-piece group entered the scene in late 2007 amid the chaos of competition. Guitarist Ash (a.k.a. Aaron Harris) had been working on material since late 2005. In early 2007, he decided to reach out and test the waters for putting together a band. Within a few short weeks, he connected with drummer Masie Autorino whose influences meshed well with the project concept. From day one, it was clear that Masie not only added a mastery of percussion to Bellarosa but, he also brought a boundless energy and a new sense of creativity to the band. By the end of March, Masie added his drums to the mix officially, complementing the band's progressive sound. The next piece of the creative ensemble was found closer to home in Aaron’s sister, Cameron. For years, the siblings played around with the idea of one day collaborating together and Bellarosa became just that opportunity. Her sultry yet energized vocals were the perfect match for the group’s rock-infused compositions. The final addition to complete the band was bassist, Aaron Wright. His technical proficiency coupled with his laid back yet professional attitude matched the chemistry of the group and added the bass groove to the material.
The line-up is now complete and the stage is set. This foursome has a full album of material and they are writing new songs. In the Fall of 2007, they started recording their self-titled EP which will be completed in 2008.
