"Acid Rain" were born from the ashes of love, passion and thirst for genuine and spontaneous Epic Heavy Metal. "Acid Rain" constituted the natural successor of the group "Soulblade", which also succeeded.The band was formed at the summer of 1998, while preexisted from 1996 as "Soulblade", in the city of Volos, from: Antoni Koumioti (Vocals) and Kosta Galanako (Guitars). In the group was quickly added Giorgos Maninis(Drums) and after lot of changes, the place of the second guitarist was given to Stamati Andrikaki. Then Dimitris Vlahonatsios joined the band (Bass) and the band start its active action.During the period of 1998 to the end of 2001, the band stopped to be active but worked hard on new material which presented it at live performances with bands like Rotting Christ,Negative Creeps, Skies, Avra, Heart Of Evil.However they never recorded anything official except some promo's for personal use from the members of the band.At the year 2003 Acid Rain returned back...Acid Rain ,through their career, had as basic point the creation of right patterns for the young people from the great area of Magnesia, while it is supposed to be one of the most popular groups of their area.Their purpose is the propagation of spirit, truth and eclecticism.Acid Rain broke the bias of institutions who opposed the hard sound, because it was that band which managed to put its rules for cultural events on the city and it did everything to extend the popularity of hard sound to the entire place.Acid Rain returned back and working hard at new material, while in a short time it is expected to begin live performances wherever it is possible. They are working based on the implementation of their own desirable result and dream. With a few words, their award!!
