The Forgotten Scroll webzine began as an idea at the fall of 2002 by 3 mIRC users (countraven + manilla}{rd + scrollkeeper who happened to be the same time at #cirith_ungol on GRnet) in order to spread the word of pure heavy metal through out the internet.
We initially hosted our webzine @ TrueMetal.org (and we thank Markus for giving free web space there!). In February 2004 we released the #01 issue of the Forgotten Scroll Fanzine ( info - sold out). In late 2004 we decided to move to a new web server under the domain www.forgotten-scroll.com. In the meantime AsgardLord joined the editor's team and we released #02 issue ( info - copies available) sometime in 2005. After Asgardlord, Trampakoulas also joined the team as an editor and sex slave ( :P ). We used the forgotten-scroll.com domain until August 2006 when we moved to a new web server (due to web hosting problems) using the domain www.forgotten-scroll.net .
From that point on we continue, trying the best we can in order to support the music that we love. The site is being updated almosty daily with news, reviews, interviews, live reports etc, so visit often! We also have a very vivid forum community, so join in and drop a line or two ;)
We issued the third printed issue of Scroll in 2007 and we are planning on releasing #4 by the end of the year!
