RunninFormed in January of 2007 in MiddletownNew Jersey, a band with unique styles & sounds consisting of dancehall, hip-hop, reggae, & reggaeton is quickly exploding down the JerseyShore. The Up Sessions, featuring: James and Ron Santee as the singers, Elliot Mango on the drums, Dan Cartledge on the bass guitar, Chris Geiss the lead guitarist, Alex Artale the rhythm guitarist, and a top notch horn section provided by Robert “Blue†Butkowski, Dom D’Angleo and Dave Dewaik, the Jersey shore music scene will never be the same.
The band started as a joining of the Headtrip Crew and the Crusader Lions Creation Steppin’. The two bands shared members and played shows together for about two years before deciding to join together to form The Up Sessions. The founding members: Alex, Dan, Elliot, & Ron where shortly accompanied by there horn section and the musical stylings quickly fell into play, however the sound was not at its peek of perfection until the arrival of their newest member Chris, the lead guitarist of the recently departed hardcore band Atlas Surrenders.
The Up Sessions debut album is in now in the making. With the combined musical talents and diverse backgrounds of musical interests between the band members the album is sure to be a hit. The Up Sessions are now spending their first summer together as a band recording and playing shows all along the JerseyShore.
