The vision of My' Werks Music/Productions is to become Jamaica’s premier, professional and creative recording company within the music industry.
Our mission is to initiate programs which will promote the understanding and appreciation of music, in all its forms. We also intend to assist children with learning difficulties. A large percentage of these children are musically inclined and in the Jamaican context, the resources are extremely limited. Sponsorship and grants should be offered to the less fortunate children in the society, in particular those with learning difficulties, whose parents/guardians cannot afford to cater to their special needs.
Benjamin Myers (a/k/a Benjy Myaz – recording artiste/musician/songwriter/producer) is the founder and visionary of My Werks Music. He is formally trained in music and has over 18 years experience as a musician/songwriter and music teacher. He has mastered approximately seven (7) different musical instruments. He has also written, produced and arranged music for local and international artistes in all music genres. Benjamin Myers serves as producer for My' Werks Music and has produced three albums for himself, namely, “Intimate Relationship,†“Time Together,†and his latest album/CD “Long Story Short.†He was instrumental as executive producer, singer, songwriter and musician on all three albums. He is currently working on his fourth album/CD, an instrumental, reggae-jazz fusion, with the Bass as lead instrument.Benjy Myaz performed with the likes of Jeffrey Osborne, James Ingram,
Peabo Bryson, Gladys Knight, Angie Stone, Randy Crawford, Kevon Edmonds, Bankie Banx, Jimmy Cliff, Toots & the Maytals, Peabo Bryson ...to name a few.
