THE BIRTH OF LAZY CHARLOTTE!
Taking a year off following a successful solo tour, it was time for the singer/song writer Kierno to finally form a band. A succession of musicians followed, however the right balance and chemistry proved elusive. Until 2007 when eventually the right line-up was found, introducing a great band ready to take Manchester by storm. Three lads from separate corners of the country were drawn to Manchester’s musical heritage, where the influence of past greats combined with a healthy dollop of unique style fuelled the creation of “LAZY CHARLOTTEâ€.
The band soon drew the attention of a music producer, who swiftly signed them to work on their EP “I Am The Enemyâ€. The first single “Blame It On The Black Moon†is available for you to hear now, a track that has garnered huge management interest already. Their rehearsal space (and the pictures of their studio) is the very same in which “The Stone Roses†and “Happy Mondays†amongst others recorded, transforming the face of the Manchester Music Scene.
