I be the most succesful of all pyrates.I captured the richest prize of my day, eluded the authorities, and lived to tell the tale. My greatest skill was to know when to stop. Me early life is shrouded in mystery, even to me. I was a slave-trading captain for a spell in the early 1690s. By 1694 I had abandoned slaving and took me hand to the honest life as a first mate on a privateer called the Charles. The Capt. was a lout and we sickened of his ways and we ousted him from his lofty position, namely we sent a musket ball through his brain pan. I then rightfully and lawfully gained control of the ship and renamed her The Fancy. She were a fast priveteer with 46 guns. We sailed east across the Atlantic, and when we came to Africer we headed south, rounded the Cape of Good Hope, and entered the rich waters of the Indian Ocean. North of Madigasger, we took 4 prizes in those waters makeing us welthy but not yet rich. Then we came upon the Fateh Mohammed, and the Gang-i-sawai. The first ship showed no fight but the second gave almost as good as she got but in the end was overcome.We killed the survivors and after taking the treasure, went about our merry way. The ship turned out to belong to the Great Moghul of India hisself and contained over 600,000 Pound of gold, silver and jewels, about $105,000,000 by modern standards. We all shared equal and then headed to the Bahamers. There I disbanded my crew and lived a very comfortable lifestyle for quite some time.
