About Me

Revolve is a small magazine produced in London for the psychedelic trance music scene. It is distributed to record stores worldwide and available to buy online at www.revolvemagazine.co.uk .
Revolve's name reflects at its heart both what produces our music, the quantum force which governs the movement of our planet and life, replicated in nature within the spiral shape of a shell, the ying/yang of the energy matrix, the basis of Taoism and karma. It also expresses a desire to help re-evolve consciousness, both of dance culture and on a deeper level, the society which it mirrors.

Each artist on the CD is interviewed in the magazine and there’s interviews with top progressive label maestros Banel and Emok from Iboga , also Bizarre Contact from Com.Pact Records , Ajja one-half of Yab Yum , the legendary Ott from Twisted Records , Insane Creation and VJ installation crew Frolic .
The main focus of the magazine as represented by Carey Thompson's cover 'Singularity' is how technology and capitalism has reached its limits. We cannot continue releasing carbon, or continue using up the Earth's resources unsustainably to make ever increasing profits.
There's a really interesting article written by Tony Harvey who writes on climateark.org the best global warming / climate change website I've seen anywhere, all about this and how the financial and media system we live under has to be changed before irreversible climate change can be avoided.
To achieve this change and evolve our society, the Mayans, Hopi & Navajo Indians and Hindus all looked forward in time to 2012 as the beginning point of a new era of consciousness. Another interview with eminent writer Daniel Pinchbeck examines how our consciousness might evolve by this date.
There's also interviews with established names like Hujaboy from Israel, the Laughing Buddha and Pogo from the UK, Zen Mechanics from Holland and many others. And features on France's Hadra label, VJ specialists Frolic, one about ending slavery around the world and one about CD downloading.
And there's a feature about Zeitgeist for those who haven't seen it.
Plus a personal remembrance of the Rainbow Serpent festival by Damion from psyreviews and a look back at the Summer with a picture spread from the Glade , Sunrise and Waveform festivals in the UK, and a feature about how to run a sustainable festival, plus around 40+ reviews…
The mag comes with another great CD with 10 tracks, seven exclusively unreleased and two not out until next year. Check out the labels and artists’ names for yourself, these are great top-quality tracks...

.. 10 new tracks with Winter Revolve Magazine for less than 6 euros! ..
This is the ninth magazine and the sixth promo CD, which has an uplifting edge to it and some really big-name artists. Still with strong psychedelic undertones but perhaps a more rounded sound, with plenty of variation to make it a more interesting listen than most CD's and choice DJ-friendly numbers sure to rip apart any dance floor.
Some great tracks at a fraction of regular CD prices with 5 night-time, one crossover and 4 morning tunes. The Laughing Buddha sets up a twisted psychedelic storming tag-team with Pogo also from Nano records, E-Jekt jets in from Israel to join the mighty Hujaboy who gets a Zion remix. Deja Voo show why they've been kicking things up in the UK and now around the world, France's Hyper Frequencies funks things up, there's the incredibly creative Bliss who remakes a classic from Infernal Machine aka Simon Posford and Dick Trevor, Polaris with rising Dutch star Zen Mechanics's remix, Australia or the UK's morning alchemist Sinewave, Mexico's Barak adds a bit more psychedelic punch to the end of the CD before Com.Pact's Aquatica rounds things up with a Cosmic Tone uplifting choral polish.
Each artist on the CD is interviewed in the magazine -- magazine plus CD is available for just 6 Euros postage to your door.
