“Le canto a lo cotidiano, a los tiempos que corren, a mi ciudad, a la naturaleza, a la música y a mis certezas. Estas canciones nacieron acompañadas solamente por mi voz y mi guitarra. En el transcurso de sus vidas, fueron mutando musicalmente en cuanto a lo interpretativo. Su desarrollo personal fue rápido, como solista, autora y co-productora. El acercamiento al músico Daniel López fue decisivo. Se creó un “feedback” que llevó a Inés a comenzar la producción de su primer disco de autor “LAS CASUALIDADES NO EXISTEN”. Trabajaron con López más de dos años, de los cuales uno y medio fueron dedicados a la pre-producción y otro medio año para la grabación, edición y mezcla.

En el diciembre de 2005, tras un dedicado y estudiado trabajo que había comenzado en el 2003 junto a Daniel López, nace el primer disco de Inés Saavedra llamado “LAS CASUALIDADES NO EXISTEN” (2005 – Pajarito Records) con la participación especial de los siguientes músicos: Martín Ibarburu, Gustavo Etchenique, Marcelo Foglino, Manuel Mendizábal, Popo Romano, Andrés Ibarburu, Eduardo “Toto” Méndez, Carlos Méndez, Carlos Morales, Guzmán Escardó, Federico Navarro, Santiago Olariaga, Pablo Soma, Gastón Contenti, Hugo Fattoruso, Fernando Torrado y Daniel López.

En el 2006 recibe varios reconocimientos: - Premio “Revelación del Año 2005” otorgado por el programa Primera Voz de la radio 1410 AM Libre. - Nominación en la categoría “Mejor Solista del Año 2006” de los Premios Graffiti. - 2do Premio en la categoría “Jóvenes Talentos de la Música Popular 2006” de la Fundación Bank Boston a la Cultura Nacional.

Durante el 2007 se suma al equipo de producción artística del primer disco de Daniel López (“Acuario” – Koala Records) junto a César Lamschtein y edita en forma independiente su primer videoclip del tema “La Chacarera del Sol”, grabado en su CD “Las Casualidades No Existen” bajo la dirección de Verónica Méndez.

Actualmente, produce su segundo disco de autor que será grabado este año y prepara la gira por España, programada para Setiembre de 2008.

Her personal development goes fast, as an artist, author and co-producer. Getting close to musician Daniel López is decisive. The feedback she receives leads Inés to start producing her first disc as an author, called “LAS CASUALIDADES NO EXISTEN” [Things do not happen by chance]. She works with López for more than two years, of which one and a half are dedicated to the pre-production and the other half to recording, edition and mixing.
