My name is DD; A little bit of info about myself...let's see>>>>>I'm Italian and YES< I can cook! In my spare time, I enjoy garage sales, flea markets, and anything to do with arts/crafts. Most of all though, I have a great appreciation and love for music. Music has always played a very positive role in my life. It has been what has lifted me up, especially during difficult times; one being losing my mother, at a very young age.I am the keyboard player, vocalist & manager of our band. We began playing together in 2006. I handle all of the band's business, which includes scheduling gigs, designing our business cards, advertisements, and our webpage. I gave our band it's name "DIVERSIFIED" because each one of us are so very different concerning our tastes in music. This has enabled us to "MIX IT UP" to articulate a great sound.
I am honored to be playing with not only a group of such talented musicians, but also with such genuinely nice guys. They all treat me great! We have formed a very "close-nitched" group.A little history about the guys:
Our lead guitarist, "Eddie aka Ed" is from Toledo, Ohio and has been playing guitar over 35 years. He played violin in high school. His mentors are Johnny Winter, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Eric Clapton, & Jimi Hendrix just to name a few. He is a "TRUE BLUES MAN!" People never believe that guitars talk until they see Eddie TURN LOOSE on stage. He's an army all by himself! Eddie is also a great vocalist, sharing the title of lead singer with me.
Our bass player is Mitch. He comes from Ansonia, which is about 50 miles north of Dayton. He has lived in Mississippi and played music all over the country for the past 30+ years. He has what it takes to articulate the right sound with every type of music, playing just about any instrument you put in front of him. He also sings a few tunes each time we play out and is our band's spokesperson/MC on stage. As of September, 2008, we have a new drummer; his name is Mike. He used to play with a band called Reloaded and he is taking the place of our former drummer, Bill. Bill had to leave us because his job in the Air Force transferred him to Vegas.......lucky him, huh? We sure will miss him and his wife, Clara. Mike lives in Lebanon and is married to Kim, who is a very dear friend of mine. We are all very happy to have him with us.Don't forget to go under my profile picture on the left and check out the picture albums. Your picture may be in one of them! :-)
Be sure to check out our schedule below and we hope to see you at one of our gigs.
Thank you for your interest. We appreciate your support! God Bless You!
