''The Message of the Prince''
is the project of
Christos Galanopoulos and Eugenios Voulgaris .
Eugenios is a music teacher, in the Municipal Conservatory of Patras, and in the Department of Popular and Traditional Music (Epirus Technological Institute), specialist in eastern tranditional instruments like oud, bowed tanbur, saz, with deep knowledge of Byzantine music, and since 1995 he is the leading mandolinist of the orchestra of Colours.
In April 2000 he founded the ensemble ..Romioi..,
which has won excellent critics for its performances
of Ottoman Music.
In 2004 he made the album ''Wanderings''
with the singer Dora Petridi.
His compositions include music for theatre
(.... The History of a captive.., ....Stahomazohtra..) .
Christos Galanopoulos
Christos is the guitarist of the band with many participations in groups in the past and composer
of two solo albums like ''A Bird..s Eye View '' in 1992 , and ''Fairytales'' in 1999 , and an album as a member
of the band Lexeme (''Lexeme'' in 1991).
In 1996 he participated in
''The New Local Jazz Rock Scene (Dytiki Akti 96)'',
the CD collection of Greece's leading music magazine "Pop / Rock", with 3 songs.
He is the western part of the duo and he plays
all the keyboards and bass .
He is also the sound engineer - producer
of the band , as he has been in the past for many artists.
Their influences range from traditional Greek
to psychedelic sound.

'' The Message of the Prince'' was introduced to the public as a theatrical live on January 26 2005
at the Municipal and regional theatre of Patras,
with narrated words and thoughts of poet
Dionyssis Karatzas,
who was inspired by the music.
