Bio
I was born in Zimbabwe and when I was two, our family moved to the States where we spent 6 years. During that time I watched my parents sing and play music (both of them, Jonathan and Shuvai are singer/songwriter/instrumentalists; my dad plays keyboard, guitar, and harmonica while mom plays guitar). One day when I was 4 years old, my parents tell me I just "walked up to the keyboard and played." We then moved to my home country when I was 8 and spent the next two years there. I then saw a part of my parents' life that I didn't really know about. I saw them ministering constantly at church and also at musical crusades in Harare at the Zimbabwe College of Music as well as many different cities in Zimbabwe and Zambia. I continued to play music and, at the age of 10, wrote my first song. Unfortunately I forgot most of it because I didn't write it down. In 1992 we moved to Brussels, Belgium where I was able to further develop my musical skills. During this time I received formal training with teachers at Brussels English Primary School and Janet Hughes, a private instructor. I then attended the International School of Brussels where I was a member of both the middle school and later the high school choir. I was also part of the computer music class for which I received an award. I was fortunate enough to have access to my father's studio in our basement. This is where I taught myself to use most of the gear I use today to make music. When we moved back to Zimbabwe in 1998, I attended Prince Edward School for the last two years of my high school education. While there I joined the Prince Edward Jazz band. I started playing the keyboard at church as well as sing my own songs whenever the opportunity availed itself. I also started to play keyboards and sequence music for various artists in Zimbabwe at Shelter Studios in Harare. My collaborations include the likes of Family Singers, Pastor G, Tidings of Love, Mfumu, Tendai Wutawunashe, Caroline Wutawunashe, Jonathan Wutawunashe, Comfort Manyame. I am currently studying music at Berklee College of Music in Boston, Massachusetts, USA and am set to graduate at the end of this year.Life to a Dying man by Tinashe Wutawunashe Tinashe WutawunasheLife to a Dying man
