I am primarily a synth player/sound sculptor, with some sample mutilation in the process, but I also play a little tonal distortion type stuff on the guitar, limp along on the bass sometimes, and play some primitive instruments as well, such as didj, bamboo flute, etc. I have a background in production, having worked as a 'jr engineer' at a studio for a while, I've recorded demos and mastered stuff for other musicians a few times over the past 5-6 years. My setup at home is a 8 tracks of digital strait into my PC.
I'm always interested in working with other musicians, either in making music, or in the production process...if my style appeals, drop me a message.
I have been making fringe/ experimental music for about 14 years. I tend to approach music from a right-side-of-the-brain improv perspective, leaning towards sound scapes and syncopations.
Originaly, I am from Tucson Arizona. I was involved in several fringe projects down there, such as 'LD-50', and 'Bugrock'. Since then, the projects I've been working with have included 'Real Bugrock', '40 Second Minute', 'Dirty In Leather' (aka 'DIL') and 'Sinefield'. There were occasional shows, most often playing for home gatherings. Bugrock is up now, I'll post some tracks from some of these older projects eventualy.
Most recently, I was involved with an improv project here in Tacoma called 'Francis Minotaur'. We played at a variety of venues, opening for hardcore bands, and such like. Our last show was at the Vogue in Seattle.
In the near future, I am working on some noise-based ambient music, with some possible colaboration with a mashup artist, and a possible trip-hop/ industrial/ ambient project with Rev5 of Bell's Theorem.
