I can't imagine life without books and I'll read just about anything -- cereal boxes, the advertisements on the bus, religious tracts, etc. -- in moments of desperation, I'm not choosy. Some of my favorite authors are Toni Morrison, Louise Erdrich, Wally Lamb, Anais Nin, Langston Hughes. Books: The Kite Runner, The Fortress of Solitude, I Know This Much is True, Into the Wild, The Master Butchers Singing Club, The Heart is a Lonely Hunter, The Time Traveller's Wife. And I still love "Where the Wild Things Are" and "Whistle for Willie".
