On the 2nd of july a cheerful and loud baby girl, who soon developed her love for music, was born Already very young she started singing and playing instruments such as the drums, jembé, etc. At the age of 6 she appeared in the tv-show "Schuif af" (Belgium TV) as lead singer of the choir together with her brother. Also at school the two were very involved in the school play and singing. Around the age of 10 she owned an impressive collection of music instruments.When turning 17 she became interested in the art of mixing music. She couldnt have been happier when her father got home one day with a present: 2 turntables. After some practise it soon became obvious that she had a gift for mixing. By the end of the year 2000 she started to make her first performances on local parties. Spring of 2001, when she was 18, she already got to mix together with DJ Daddy K, who congratulated her with her DJ-skills.She made her modest TV-debut in 2001 on TMF in the program DJs@home (Belgium TV). She was the first female DJ to appear on this show. In 2004 the judges Balo from Starflam and DJ Sake from the Supreme team chose her as winner of the 411 DJ contest on JIM TV (Belgium music channel). Later that year Lady G participated in the JamminDJ contest of Radio Donna & Six Flags. She was chosen out of 500 candidates to mix at Six Flags. In the finals she competed with 6 other DJs and won! The judges were Reggie from Milc Inc (Belgium Dance), VJ Ann from TMF (Belgium music channel), DJ Chenn (Hip Hop) and Wout from Sylver (Belgium Dance). This year she won 2nd price in the Boccacio DJ Contest.Lady G combines her DJ-performances with her studies digital and graphical media (multimedia) in Ghent (Belgium).Some of the discotheques and party's where DJ Lady G made excellent party-vibes are: TMF Coolsweat, City Queens, Millenium, Carré Beach, B Club, Billion, Arenchi, Only Groove, Hippodrôme, Athanor, Museum, Club Seven, le Cercle, Factory, Living Room, Zanzibar (France), Locos por el futbol (Madrid- Spain), Lokua Club (Madrid- Spain), Sweet (Madrid - Spain), Amnesia (Rabat- Morocco), Beach Club (Bouznika - Morocco), Amnesia Beach (Tetouan - Morocco) Clubs in Athene (Greece) and many more.Lady G has created her own style with a female touch. During a performance she loves to grab the mic, to sing and to get the party more fired up. She's becoming one of the biggest stars in the Belgium R’n B DJ-Scene.
