Now, with that said, I'll give you the quick summary of my life till this point. I've seen the world 3times over, before I turned 18. Born Steve Anthony Newland Jr on January 31st in Willingboro New Jersey to a Panamanian mother, and Jamaican Father. I've lived in several countries from Japan , Portugal , Italy , Panama , Korea, and visited countless others, Guam, Slovenia, Germany, England, Spain, France, Belgium, Netherlands, Mexico, Canada, Austria, Sicily, and the list goes on, not counting the 25+ States (Hawaii-Alaska) I've lived and Visited Alone. I've seen more in my life then most people 4Xs my age never will see. For this, I thank God everyday for the blessings and opportunities he's given me, and continue to live my life to the fullest at all costs, cause our time here on this beautiful world is never promised to us. Coming to us from NC, by the way of the United Kingdom, Da Prez has been a known name in the underground of Europe and has performed for 100,000s over the past 6 years. Making his debut in Italy back in 2001, Da Prez jumped on the scene with his single "feel the pain" (Feat Ox) which quickly gained him the ear of the streets and made him a instant buzz through out Eastern Europe. From there Prez joined with several large independent labels thru the next few years (studio beat, Industry, Exel Recordz, MR) The summer of 2004 provided Da Prez with his first national television apperance on Italian television station, Italia Uno, where he and the rest of the exel recordz staff performed live on television as well as radio 105.0fm in downtown Milan. Building on the success from that performace several other performaces were completed along side the likes of artists such as Lord Tariq and Peter Gunzs, and taking Prez to countries such as Poland, Slovenia, Austria, and England. In December of 2004 Prez returned back to Italy where he completed a three week 8 city tour. He performed in cities such as San Dona, Venice, Vicenza, Verona, Milan, and various other cities around Italy, all while working on his album and other group projects. Now back in the U.S. it hasn't taken him long to establish himself as a credible MC and business man, having compiled well over 100,000 spins on his website alone, and countless mixtapes and dvd's sold in the streets and .., being a founding leader and influcence in the New Age Entertainment machine. His latest mixtape featuring the SMASH SINGLE "350 Bars" has set Prez apart from the average MC, and quickly silenced many doubters proclaiming Prez's lack of versatility. In the 19min freestyle, Prez address'es many issues that have been brought to his attention from Beefs' to Breezies. Having just recently returned from Summer Touring Overseas once again for 2006, Prez is now focused on completing his long awaited Solo Album..."Back Yard" which will feature other artists (Ox, Tef Kaluminoti, Veezy, Exel, MC Carlitos, and More) out Dec 06.
TEF KALUMINOTI (ROC CITY RECORDS) (Bu-Tay Vodka)
Humble beginnings have proven to bring forth brighter days for Hip-Hop Mogul, Tef-Kaluminoti. Born as Bakeeba Ruffin, this North Carolinian born mastermind continues to lyrically elbow his way to the forefront of the hip hop industry. Tef draws upon his own personal life struggles-which he writes about in his fiery flows. He has been quoted as saying that "I teach everyone how to make it-through my eyes and my experiences in life. I can encourage and inspire everyone to reach for more through the songs I write." His debut album "Rap Mogul", produced by "Rocjose" for Roc city productions, is set to drop Jan 2006, by way of his own label (Roc City Records), formed in 2001 with his business partner, Kae Watson. Tef has embraced various influences on both personal and professional levels and pays homage to Master P, Russell Simmons, and P Diddy on how they used their business savvy to get into the music industry and continue to stay on top of their game. Credits to date: Tef's signature style and personal drive have afforded him opportunities such as opening for artists such as: Jay-Z, E-40, Genuine, and Cash Money Millionaires. He is scheduled for a 6 US City Tour, and this fall, is to begin filming his first feature film, "Scared money"which he wrote and produced under Roc City films.

Simple name, complex man. Ox, a military veteran received his name in basic training for doing over 100 pushups in less than 2 minutes. Asked how he got his name Ox says, "The name just stuck so I held on to it. I feel like you should earn a name rather then just making one up". A emcee since the age of 14, Ox, now 24, has created an international buzz by working with producers throughout Europe. It was in Italy where he connected with local hip hop producers and performed on a weekly basis. He spent his time not only protecting the United States but also grinding out performances and getting radio spins all over Europe. Stateside Ox has worked with artists from coast to coast. He is one of those rare talented individuals that only come around every so often. He can rhyme, produce and engineer. He takes each craft just as serious as the next and it shows. Equally as talented in all three categories the man is a triple threat. A self proclaimed "Tru school emcee" he strives to deliver a positive and real life message thru his music. His hunger to evolve the culture is shown by the level of commitment he maintains to this art form. The name Ox symbolizes so much more then a man who is this talented. It symbolizes a man that is a positive role model to his child and man who provides for his wife. He carries more then jus the stresses of being noticed for his craft, but the stress to find enough time in the day. With so much to burden but yet a positive attitude to carry it all without complain he has more than earned the title, Ox.

Minority Report Productions. Combine a little sabor latino and Asian exotic with heart-thumping-soul-stirring hip-hop to form the blazing sound of Minority Report Productions. This innovative production company is the brainchild of partners Nemezyz and Creasian. Since 2003, the duo has masterfully blended various traditional rhythms to create a sonic melting pot reflective America’s diverse culture. Minority Report is music for today’s global generation. One half of the Minority Report team is Ponce, Puerto Rico native Nemezyz. Heavily influenced by Latin music and hip-hop, Nemezyz began his music career eight years ago as a reggaeton artist while living in New Jersey. As Nemezyz grew into his talents, he recognized his passion for writing his own music and decided to express himself through production. Nemezyz has traveled overseas and produced tracks for reggaeton artists signed to major labels as well as underground dancehall artists. He has also served as head producer for a small indie where he enjoyed helping to build the careers of budding artists. “Music is my escape,” says Nemezyz. “It’s my release and my form of expression.” Supporting Nemezyz is Creasian, a Filipino-American who was born and raised in the southern states. Creasian musical influences include rock, disco, R&B classics, and hip-hop masterminds Timbaland, the Neptunes, and SwizzBeats. Creasian became interested in music while listening to composer Hans Zimmer and watching his sister lead their high school marching band in Augusta, GA. “It’s amazing how each instrument contributes its own melody to create one sound,” says Creasian. “Even though each melody is unique – it is still ‘one band – one sound.” Nemezyz and Creasian believe that Minority Report’s eclectic sound will be a “breath of fresh air” to the music industry. Carrafa (EVOL EMPYRE/KOCH RECORDS/NAE AFFILIATE)
Aryan Arys Carrafa was born on September 30th 1979. His parents, Victor and Joan Carrafa were considered the Bonnie and Clyde of the new age. Carrafa spent his early years in New York under the care of foster parents and later passed around to different relatives while both of his parents were incarcerated. He later moved to Sacramento California once his mother was later released. Meanwhile his father was serving a life sentence for several crimes which can not be disclosed. Growing up in Sacramento was a struggle for Carrafa, with the gangs and drugs in circulation throughout the area; it was hard for Carrafa to stay out of trouble's path. So, in 1992 Carrafa started break dancing, and doing graffiti in an effort to stay away from the drugs and violence which was sure to catch up with him at some point. It was that very point in time, Hip-Hop was permanently imbedded into Carrafa's life. With things going well, unexpectedly, Carrafa's father (Victor) escaped from Sac. County jail, resulting in the shooting of an Officer. He was later captured two days later and sentenced again to double life. At this point, Carrafa was sure to never see his father breathe air from the free world again. Although Carrafa was mentally traumatized by the events, he still pushed, and persisted to remain productive. He started rapping shortly after at thirteen years old, and it was history from then on. Both Carrafa and his boy Rage recorded their first song together at 14 with a microphone and a tape player, the song was hot! About two years later, Carrafa's mother (Joan) was caught in an armored car heist, resulting in a life sentence that nearly resulted in the death penalty. Carrafa was then extremely down with no better choice than to move to the bay area with his close friend Rage, and hustle anything he could to survive. At fifteen he was battling M.C.'s at clubs, and on the street's earning a reputation as one of the best battle rapper's in the entire state. When in a battle hosted by Zulu Nation, Carrafa received 2nd place and shook the hands of Hip-Hop legends such as, Africa Bambada, and The Grand Wizard Theodore, not to mention, the battle was fixed. By eighteen years old, Carrafa came out on several mix tapes, and appeared on a number of college radio stations. At nineteen the hustle caught up with him, and three masked gunmen invaded Carrafa's apartment, where Carrafa, his girlfriend, and eight other friends were hanging out. The robbery turned into a gunfight and Carrafa shot one of the gunmen, and in return the robber ran out of the apartment and shot Carrafa's best friend in the back while laying face down. Carrafa was then completely torn apart. Carrafas good friend Rage then insisted that he move back to the bay area to stay with him once again. It was then Carrafa gathered some investors, and put his whole 200% heart and soul into making it big in the music industry. In 2000 Carrafa officially critiques his camp, and establishes Evol Empyre Ent. It's then that Carrafa and his team, starts knocking out song, after song, and performing at several locations throughout the bay area, and Sacramento. He then stars in a low budget film which receives several awards at film festivals, meanwhile pushing demo C.D.'s, shooting music video's and promoting Evol Empyre Ent. in an effort to blow to the top. With a group album completed, and a solo album on the way, Carrafa will change the way the world listens to music. He has been creating a buzz for years and is known as an underground king, and considered one of the most talented Hip-Hop artists of his time. With the line up of albums on the way, either done or under construction, Carrafa is doing big things, strategically completing the formula to drop harder than anyone ever before.
