Artist, Musician, Producer, The titles are just the beginning. The SoulOne Music Creator & New Age representative Whatitis StudioBeat Universal and Left Field affiliate (the list of course goes on) has spent the past decade building the skill and honing the talent that will solidify his place in Hip Hop history. Born on the west side of Detroit, Music ruled OX's life from the beginning. OX spent most of his early childhood in and out of his uncle's record store listening to the Soul Funk Hip Hop and Blues records that define the vibe of his music today. In his Teenage years OX was spending almost all of his time bouncing from studio to studio, At this time he began doing shows and sneaking into the battles and open mics at the Local night spots he began build a reputation by battling more and more defeating countless numbers of grown men on the mic. "I used to bug off the reaction I got when I told them dudes I was 14" In 2001, Ox took his new talents with him overseas, where he did a tour in the US Military. While in Italy Ox landed a session with the well known Italian recording studio, Studio Beat. His raw ability to ride beats caught the ear of one of Italy's top producer's "IRKO" with credits ranging from major film scores to most recent credits on the Jay-Z's Kingdom Come album; "Ox is my dude, I've been a fan for a long time" says Irko. While working with IRKO Ox recorded two hit singles "Hustle Hard" a savvy blend between hip-hop and Euro style Bass heavy club music and "Its Alright" a testament to life as a artist and the personal message to all to listening to keep going forward. Now in 2008, The Almighty Ox is once again back on the international scene. Currently living Japan, Ox is preparing to break Asia open the same way he did Italy "You can call the stations in Italy right now, they know me. I still got squad out there and I've been gone for like 7 years. I'm gonna do Japan at least 10 times worse." -Ox
