About Me

Musician to the bone- college grad, midwestern nice guy with great personality. Never piss me off....there, I warned you. I am a passionate and articulate guy that is comfortable letting his inner-child run the show. I do not use drugs or surround myself with those who do. Love the ocean and hanging out with my two dogs. Music and movies are two things that I can't seem to get enough of. Although I'm not a college kid anymore, I still think that the greatest food on earth is Original Kraft Macaroni & Cheese. When I'm not rehearsing or playing live with 7k...I'm thinking about drums, girls, food and drums.

My Interests

Obviously MUSIC is my biggest interest, but I'm a passionate romantic, an adventurous outdoorsman and a bit of a sports nut- Green Bay Packers, Nebraska Cornhuskers and the mighty Colorado Avalanche are my teams.

I'd like to meet:

I like to meet people, period. To be more specific...there are two: the right heart and the right pair of ears. One gets my love and affection, the other 'gets' the music, invests heavily and allows me to finally quit my day job. I like meeting people with different tastes than mine, musical and otherwise, because it helps to open my eyes and mind. I like meeting genuine, passionate and intelligent people that make me grin, think or laugh til I fall over. I like meeting people on tour...fans and musicians alike. I really dig meeting other drummers, talking drums for hours and telling our stories that start...'One night we were playing this show, and....'. Most of all, I like meeting people that do what they say and say what they mean.

Music:

There are literally hundreds of influences here...some are: Rush, 311, Tower of Power, Dredg, Apex Theory, Third Eye Blind, Dave Matthews Band, Mudvayne, Gavin Degraw, Billy Joel, Elton John, Red Hot Chili Peppers, the Mars Volta and Porcupine Tree.

Movies:

Fletch is the funniest movie ever made, and the best part is that Fletch Lives is a CLOSE SECOND! SAW is the freshest horror idea in years...loved all three! A couple other faves would be: Shawshank Redemption, Good Will Hunting, Braveheart, Matrix Trilogy, Lord of the Rings series, Saving Private Ryan, Transporter 1 & 2. Movies are a real joy to me, I lose myself in them, I can't get enough...I dig hundreds of other flicks of all kinds....just don't know where to begin.

Television:

I don't watch a whole lot, but Denis Leary's series on FX called 'Rescue Me' is some of the best TV around. I miss classics like X files, Seinfeld and Boston Public. I do enjoy some Sopranos and Fear Factor now and then.

Books:

Lucky Man- Michael J. Fox, Golden Boy- Paul Hornung, Ghost Rider- Neil Peart, The War of Art- Steven Pressfield, Leaves of Grass- Walt Whittman

Heroes:

Neil Peart (drummer for Rush) Brett Favre (QB for my beloved Green Bay Packers) AND My Mom & Dad!!
