Made in The Black Country & fucking proud of it.

About Me

A Black Country band......
Hello there!Welcome to Chevrons myspace page.
You don’t get bullshit from us. We tell it like it is & if you don’t like it, fuck off.
Chevron are a political minded rock group from the impoverished Black Country, a place with a boot firmly pressing down on it’s face to make sure we all know where we belong.
We don’t mind that though, cos it feels better to be screaming up than talking down.
We’re one of the tightest playing bands around purely through an understanding of music as well as a bit of practice. Can’t be bothered with the ego thing so what you see is what you get.
A Brief History
Chevron have been 6 years in the making.
Luke & Michael starting jamming together in 2000 after meeting at a rehearsal for Michaels solo band, The Wetdog Project & quickly moved high up in the music business. Well, they were security guards at various rock concerts, festivals & appearances. They were very briefly, security for Muse (they lasted one night after Michael kicked over Matt Bellamys bottle of wine & drank the bass players beers then decided to stage dive off the stage.... when the venue was empty....) & were asked to go to V2001. They unfortunately were not asked back to V2002 or 3 due to an interesting event involving a drunk girl trying to fight Luke, & Michael shmoozing in the VIP section with Tricky & Paul Weller, ingesting quite a few magic mushrooms that were kindly given to him by some passing hippy girls, meeting various celebs & dancing off into the night. We won’t go into that. For legal reasons.
Eggy had been asked to form another band & asked Michael if he would play guitar & sing. The WAAs were born. But Luke wasn’t invited.
It wasn’t until Jan 2007 when Jimmy The Fool imploded, that Eggy & Michael decided to form Chevron & emmitted a call only heard by musicians. Luke being "high" heard this call & responded in a way only he can.
He arrived ready to rock.
And rock we do my friends.
Trivia
Waste a few minutes reading this shit, that won’t enhance your life journey in any known way, but will give you a tantallising glimpse into the world of Chevron. All of it is 100.99999999999999% truth.
Previous clients of Michael & Lukes security work include Van Morrison, The Beach Boys, Tom Jones, The Black Crowes, Gabrielle & Bottom: The Tour.
Eggy is also known as Fast Eddie in some circles.
Michael is also known as Gorb in different circles. Alright just Luke really.
Luke is known as Treebeard for 3 reasons
1. He is very tall, like an Ent.
B. He has a beard, like an Ent.
iii. He takes a very long time to talk, like an Ent.
e. He can walk ridiculously far by foot in no time at all, like an Ent.
Eggy has someone called "Henry" in his garage.
Michael appeared on The Weakest Link. And wasn’t voted off.....
Luke has a habit of sleeping in peoples front gardens.

Eggy never get’s on with his boss. Fact.
Michael is an expert on Sherlock Holmes.
Luke knows everything there is possibly to know about the Lord of the Rings. Including languages & the elvin alphabet. Please do not talk to him about this. It is for your own safety.
