AKA Hep Shepherd: Second Life Performer!

About Me

Myspace Layouts - Myspace Editor - Image Hosting

The story is simple-This New Years' Eve I was in the English countryside and ended up playing a small show with my friend Chloe (she is a classical violinist), at a tiny place called Foxholes. The reception was so positive that when I returned to NYC, I walked up to my boss and smiled as I said, "I'm giving you my two weeks." I flew back to the UK to record my first demo and have been back in NYC promoting and playing shows ever since . I am an active performer in Second Life (under the name Hep Shepherd) which is quite possibly the coolest thing in the world for an emerging singer-songwriter. I play weekly shows for my wonderful fans in the virtual world as well as shows around NYC.In August of 2007 I was interviewed by Newsweek magazine for my performances in Second Life (the link is listed in my blog). A few weeks later I received a letter from my hero, Cat Stevens (Yussef Islam) who convinced me that I had made the right decision to pursue music! Please visit my webiste for more information at www.jeffkrantzmusic.com
