Originally from Belton, Texas. I've lived in Austin since '88, & can't imagine living anywhere else.
I design rock posters & CD packaging under my studio name Penhead Design. I have work published in several best-selling books & I've won a few awards...a couple of them actually deserved it, but I'm sure a few probably didn't. I learned to draw (mostly) from Silver Age Marvel Comics & still have a nice collection.
I also play guitar & sing for my band Butcherwhite. Writing songs has become a fresh creative outlet and a killer stress reliever. I'm lucky as hell to own some great guitars, & have found that I'm definitely partial to Gibson. I still love to get out of the house and see great bands.
