looking forward to seeing perfume but haven't made it yet, is marie antonette any good? haven't seen that either. that movie about the monks, into great silence is great but about an hour too long - slept for between 5 & 20 minutes depending on who you ask so that took the sting out of it. there was at least four nuns in the cinema which must be a record

heat by george monbiot at the top of the pile right now. check out georgemonbiot.com he really stand out cos he doesn't just tell you how fucked the world is ennvironmentally, he's actually got a plan that's not that drastic at all. well worth checking out. looking for some great fiction to read so suggestions please - just finished never let me go by kazuo ishiguro. really short book but took me ages cos i didn't want it to end. enchanting
