He has performed with many incredible musicians, entrancing listeners around the world. His crafted songs and soothing style is as infectious as it is rousingâ€.
Born in London in 1973 to actress/model Paula Boyd, sister of Pattie Boyd, and Record Producer/Engineer Andy Johns (The Stones, Led Zep, Van Halen), Will started playing guitar and singing at age fifteen. He then went on to study performing arts in Oxford, regularly honing his busking skills in Carfax Crossroads and the streets of Oxford, where he then formed his first band ‘Cloud 9’.
In ‘93, Will recorded with legendary Clash frontman Joe Strummer. Will then re-opened ‘The Crawdaddy Club’, the birthplace of The Rolling Stones, at the original site in Richmond and held weekly Jam Sessions.
Will performed with Jack Bruce from the Supergroup "CREAM" and recorded in L.A with dad Andy Johns. During this stint he bumped into old friend Jesse Wood of Hogg Fame and formed ‘GLYDA’. This amazing band wowed audiences as they toured The United States, Ireland, France, Germany, UK, the World and elsewhere! Also releasing an album and three EP’s.
Will performed with Bill Wyman, Ron Wood and unbelievably Frank Skinner! at the Mandarin Oriental for the Peter Cook Foundation.
After the "heady" days of GLYDA, and increasingly shy of media attention, Will began performing under the pseudonym of ‘Willy Brown’ to try and gain some level of anonimity and formed the "Psychedelic Blues Band". Touring along the south coast of England even reaching as far as "Sennen Cove", The very western tip of the UK, to perform before an audiance that included 25 foot long Basking Sharks!.
Will is now a London based singer-songwriter/guitarist who has been playing his riffs across the globe for more than 15 years. Will Johns’ compositions and performances consist of blistering authentic rock and blues, not to mention a serving of truly soulful vocals.
Will’s debut solo album is currently under development!!

Will Johns endured sucsess with his former band GLYDA throughout the nineties and early noughties having had toured The USA, Germany, France and Ireland as well as having released an album and 3 EPs.
