He has a list of credits that are pages long, with experience which is truly spanned all genres of music: Rock, Jazz, Funk, Pop and Latin. His critically acclaimed voice is powerful, soulful and unforgettable.Bernard has spent the last decade touring and recording with The Rolling Stones, rounding out 14 albums, including fronting three albums from Charlie Watts and contributing his voice to solo efforts from Mick Jagger, Keith Richards and Ron Wood.Bernard has also lent his vocal talents to such top entertainers as Willie Nelson, Sly & Robbie, Bootsy Collins, Bernie Worrell, Duran, Duran, Herb Alpert, Bonnie Raitt and is currently #2 on the U.K. charts with X-Press2 remix of "Don't Make Me Wait" which he is once again singing lead.Born and raised in the Queensbridge Projects of New York City, Bernard played bass in the neighborhood salsa band. At 16 he began writing and singing in iTotal Eclipsei, who later signed with Brunswick Records. As the frontman for Peachboys, Bernard scored #1 hits with "Don't Make Me Wait" and "Life Is Something Special". From there came Tackhead formed with friends Adrian Sherwood and Doug Wimbish and more recently Nickelbag with two excellent releases, "12 Hits & A Bump" (1996) and "Mas Feedback" (1997). Both have received "must have" in your CD collections by reviewers."Friends With Privileges" marks Bernard's solo debut.
