Watch for my upcoming book DEADLY SESSIONS:
A hybrid genre novel that mixes elements of the Psychological Thriller with Contemporary/Dark Urban Fantasy.
DEADLY SESSIONS seamlessly combines two popular literary fiction themes: serial killers and vampire legend, yet without the obvious display of fangs and bats.
Instead, it relies on strong characters, compelling dialog, psychological intrigue, great locales, and just a bit of dry humor to break the tension.
Patricia Cornwell, Stephan White and Anne Rice fans alike, will find this story irresistibly addicting, and ultimately intriguing.

I have a very eclectic music collection--the Big Bands of the 40s, Sixx A.M., Beatles, Bach (both Johann & Sebastian), U2, Dean Martin, Beethoven, Stones, Poison, Billy Idol, Guns N Roses, Frank Sinatra, AC/DC, Queensryche, Wagner, The Police, Skid Row, The Doors, Stryper, Ozzy, Rachmaninoff, Elvis, Green Day, Shania Twain, Generation X, Scorpions, Waylon Jennings, Motley Crue, Miles Davis, Judas Priest, Disturbed, The Replacements, Johnny Cash, Eric Clapton, Heart, Bon Jovi, Esteban, Hoyt Axton, Twisted Sister, The Ramones, Nickelback, Madonna, Sex Pistols...
Well, you get the picture. What I listen to depends on the mood I'm in, what I'm writing at the time, and what I'm cooking. I always listen to Dean Martin when I cook Italian...

My favorite movie will be DEADLY SESSIONS, of course. You need to read the book & see the movie. Patrick is the most compelling vampire you will ever meet.
That said, I really like the old B & Ws from the 30's & 40's. I love FILM NOIR. Like it when they keep me guessing til the end. Hate it when I figure out "who dunnit" before the movie is half thru.

Food Network & CSI, when I have time to watch. I also try to catch all the documentaries on Ancient Egypt. I'm an armchair Egyptologist and am in the process of learning how to decipher hieroglyphs.
Greg & I are real "Foodies". I cook all the time, always creating some new dish. But, I hate to bake. You have to follow the recipe too closely when you bake, it's too restrictive, stifles my creativity.

Emily Taylor is a Park Avenue psychologist enjoying a comfortable and somewhat mundane life “babysitting†the Manhattan elite one hour at a time. Having given up her dream of becoming an FBI profiler, she now spends her time listening to the melodramas of society matrons who can afford her services. Her routine life takes a dramatic turn when the badly beaten body of a woman is found dumped in a cornfield in New Jersey with most of its blood drained.
When she’s asked to assist her brother Edgar, the sheriff handling the case, by providing her professional insight on this strange homicide, she jumps at the chance. But she soon finds that she has drawn some unexpected attention to herself after the media labels the killer as the “Mad Mortician with a Vampire fetish†based on her “profiling†comments.
A mysterious man appears in her office after hours, claiming to have information about the murder. He says he wants to hire her to help stop his daughter from killing again. His daughter happens to be a vampire—like him. Skeptical as to their motives, yet completely intrigued, she agrees to take them both on as clients.
As she begins her sessions with the two of them she attempts to discover the truth: Who is really the killer? Are they trying to establish a Psych defense? Or do they actually believe they are vampires?
As more bodies are found, her world becomes increasingly convoluted. The FBI has sent the country’s best profiler to take over the case, pushing both Emily and Edgar out of the way. He is relentless in his pursuit of the killer. He trusts no one, including Emily. Convinced that she is hiding something, he puts agents on her 24/7 and demands that she turn over all of her client records. She is plagued with doubt and guilt as she refuses. Is she protecting a vicious killer? Is this an elaborate ruse? Protection from discovery by hiding behind doctor-patient privilege? Or are they telling her the truth?
Then, suddenly, in the midst of a media frenzy full of speculation of another Jack the Ripper, real Vampires, and Mad Morticians, the killer turns his attention to Emily. She begins to receive phone calls and gruesome “giftsâ€. Could there be a copycat? Are there two killers? Is she the next victim?

All those hardworking men, women and children dedicated to saving America's horses.
I am on the Board of Directors of a small horse rescue and it always seems like an uphill battle. There are never enough homes to place the abused, neglected, and unwanted horses, including the last of the Country's wild Mustangs. And there is never enough money to purchase them at the auction houses where they are being brokered for sale for slaughter.
I am the proud mother of two rescue horses, Sierra, a neglected Appaloosa, who was 250 pounds underweight when we got her, and Cheyenne, a wild Mustang who the Federal Goverment had put up for auction.
Please do what you can to help. Support a local horse rescue near you.
Tell Congress to STOP the slaughter of America's Horses.
Make a difference.
Save a Life.
