I've realized this Modern society is of one in Disguise.
When I was a young boy living in Port Hueneme, Ca.....
I Was quiet, We are all quiet in our adolescence stage but my imaginary thoughts bewildered my focusing on reality
often, My first days were interesting and neurally productive.
I was always aware of my suroundings, More so studied what we were as people, and never acknowledged
whether or not my comprehension was stable.But it was.I witnessed rough lifestyles growing up, so reality was an easy dicipher
as a kid, Knew santa clause wasn't real early on, my early quests
where one of dusty stacks of dirty mags. Before my birth my mom exposed my sensory to alot of America, Joe satriani, UB40,
BOB to name a few before my mom gave birth to me,
She left my Dad after he didnt return after his
departure to another military location and didn't return to see my birth.... So mama moved on and left my dad,
And Moved on to a Biker Involved
In the notorious Bike Gang "Hells Angels"/Electric Guitar Player/ months before my birth And I took his full name Jeff Gates
Which Pretty much Damn near killed him knowing his newborn Has a name of his girlfriends new boytoy american badboy silly as it sounds.... But what could I do?I was a newborn!
So of course the Hells Angel Guy didnt Last...So, NEXT!
Went through many different father figures, Dad paid child support And never visited, Prolly still mad about the Name Thing! Went through Loads of music, Prolly because of the overloading of emotional moments when my mom needed a soothing tune to calm her Or maybe it was the 8 chords my mom knew on guitar that was played repetitively until I knew them damn chords!!!
But it seemed destined, I ended up messing with tapedecks, Karaoke machines, And eventually bought my own Multitrack Recorder and Computer From there I experimented with every Nob and Fader, Learned the arts of Mic placement, equalization, Mastering and
various effects processing methods I sound designed myself throughout the years of search for the perfect settings. I moved to LA to start my own business with intelectual people
that are on the same playing field as I,
With an open mind and anxious to explore the untouched plains of discovery, We as one will be felt by those that understand
