What you should know if you're thinking of contacting me:
I'm kind of antisocial. I enjoy talking with people I like, but I'm really bad about keeping in touch, and even the people I love sometimes go for months without hearing from me. If you send me a message, I'll try to respond quickly, but (unless you're offering me money or something) don't be surprised if it takes awhile.
Down there where it says I don't want kids? Yes, I really mean that. And yes, that does mean never. I've felt this way since I was a kid myself, and I have given it a lot of thought, so please don't lecture me on how great kids are and how much I'm going to regret it later. I get enough of that in real life.
Yes, I am an atheist. No, I don't have a problem with religious people.
Racism, sexism, and homophobia really piss me off. If you're a misogynist, or the kind of "feminist" who hates men, or if you've been led to believe that people from the middle east are our enemies because of the war in Iraq... the conversation won't last long, so you may as well not bother.
Also, THIS IS IMPORTANT... if I have never spoken to you before, and have no idea who you are, don't send me a friend request. No matter how cool you seem, I won't add you. I also will not add bands unless I am either friends with them, or like them enough to have already bought more than one CD. I'm not trying to be mean; I'm just not interested in having a friends list full of people I'll never speak to. SO... if you find your friends request denied, this is why; it's not because I have any sort of personal issue with you. OK? No hate mail? Good.
And yeah, I know this is making me come across as a complete bitch. Sorry about that. I'm just trying to derail all of the problems that I inevitably, repeatedly run into. I really would love to hear from you. Really.
