Giving Pound Puppies and Dogs A New Leash On Life

About Me

K-9 Stray Rescue League is a state and federally licensed non-profit group formed in 1990 primarily to save dogs on the euthanasia list at the Oakland County and Genesee County Animal Control Shelters. We check shelters on a daily basis for any deserving dog that we might be able to save. Most of the dogs at county and local shelters are there through no fault of their own. All most of them need is a loving, understanding, and a responsible new home. That's where you (hopefully) come into the picture. We strongly encourage you to give these discarded pets a "New Leash on Life" by adopting from a local or county shelter, a humane society, or an organization like ours. K-9 Stray Rescue makes sure that all of our dogs are spayed or neutered and actively encourages everyone to spay/neuter their pets. We don't want anyone to add to the over-population problem that currently puts so many innocent animals on death row (approximately 17 Million in the USA every year!).code HOT Myspace Layouts
