About Me

I'm born in 1982 into a family of musicians, for which reason musical interest was also a natural part of my childhood. For unknown reasons I picked the cello as my main instrument at the age of 9, after having played the piano for a few years. This turned out to be a good idea, and I started a more serious cello-education in 1999 at the Carl Nielsen Academy of Music in Odense, studying with ass. prof. Niels Ullner who is still my mentor. I am still studying, and in june I will do my debut, which marks the definite ending of 8 years of study. At least at this academy... Besides playing classical music, I also do a bit of folkmusic and other stuff - whatever comes up.
