Schooled in the Coeymans, New York country blues tradition and now based in Carlisle, PA, Brian (aka Davispicker) has been on a lifelong quest to make his right thumb as independent as possible from those pickin fingers.Brian fingerpicks country blues guitar in the Piedmont style, and his major influences are Reverend Gary Davis, Mississippi John Hurt, Blind Blake, Big Bill Broonzy, Stefan Grossman, Ernie Hawkins, Ry Cooder, Jorma Kaukonen, and OMPicker.He was introduced to the guitar by OMpicker when he was 15.
