M.A.P.O. WILL TAKE ACTION WITH THOSE ISSUES THAT EFFECT OR IMPACT THE MEMBERSHIP OF SAID ORGANIZATION.----------------------------------------------- -----------The Mexican American Police Organization (M.A.P.O.), a not-for profit 501(c)(3) organization. Proceeds from our events and Outing will go to MAPO’s Youth Fund, a fund created in 2000 for activities and improvements of our community’s children.With the help of our sponsors, MAPO began building the Youth Fund with fund-raisers such as the MAPO Golf Outing, an event that helped increase our annual scholarship awards to ten recipients each receiving $1,000 to attend classes at the university of their choice. MAPO continues to reach out in ways that may help improve the quality of life in our community. We show this by providing funds to our youth for access to higher education and by providing activities that encourage our underprivileged children. Encouraging our children to improve and feel rewarded is a large part of our mission. Every year we also have a toys for tots program that has been very successful in the last few years. MAPO believes that our sponsors are our partners. We hope you join us in partnership to improve the quality of life in our community.
