when in doubt put your trust in transcendental virtues.

About Me

i'm a massage therapist and also make hemp and beaded jewelry. i sell my wares wherever i can. i'm married to a guitar swingin' singer/songwriter and we live in a small bungalow with a great front porch and a towering Oak tree in our side yard. we live with Japhy Ryder the "Zen lunatic" kitty and his Yin, the very sophisticated Luka. i love Guinea pigs and still miss Satchmo dearly, that little guy was somethin' special.

my husband and i traveled the U.S. for a year livin' in our 1971 Volkswagen bus (Pirsig)- we bathed in streams, slept in parking lots, swam under waterfalls, met so many beautiful people that my faith in humanity was restored, and discovered that the Grand Canyon cannot be described in mere words (not to mention that "grand" is an understatement).
i've been to France, Italy, Sicily, Austria, Greece, Spain, Germany, and the Netherlands. i fell in love with France and would love to live in Arles at some point in my life.
i'm a lover of the absurd and things of a grotesque nature often intrigue me (i don't know why i just can't look away). i'm a strict vegan and almost completely "raw". practicin' the Dharma. thankful that thought bubbles do not exist in real life. detest corporate america. think we need more community leaders and fewer politicians. feel at home near the mountains. usually wear my hair tied back but feel exceptionally free when i leave it down. still love to climb trees. i have a thing for yurts. i love knit hats. i prefer the barter system over money and just tryin' to do my part to leave this world in a little better condition than i found it.
REDUCE, REUSE, RECYCLE, RESTORE (did i mention reduce?). this is the only earth we have and i don't know about you but i'm very fond of it.
"just come to see that everything is passing on, that nothing in your mind remains the same for even the span of a breath. if you see like that for even a moment, then for that moment you are free." Ji Aoi Isshi
